Description
A sharp abrasive noise when disengaging is often due to a worn release bearing. To fix this, you need to remove the engine, so it is advisable to thoroughly check the pressure plate and clutch disc or even better to replace them directly.
The release bearing is mounted on the clutch fork with clamps.
Use only the special clutch assembly grease for proper and long-lasting lubrication of the release bearing, primary shaft, thrust bearing, and possibly installed guide bushing. Normal grease can melt due to heat and end up on the clutch disc.
