Description
Heavy corrosion or cracking damage are the most common reasons for replacing a dynamo support. If your dynamo has a diameter of 105 mm, you have the choice between an original aluminum model and a chrome-plated version, for those who want to make their engine shine down to the smallest details.
This dynamo support is a reproduction of the model used for alternating current dynamos (AC alternator), but it can also be used for direct current dynamo (DC). Keep in mind that the model originally used for the direct current dynamo may differ from this version. Not that this would hinder the fit, but for enthusiasts pursuing a 100% original look, this could be a problem.
Note: The threads for the oil filler nut may still contain some manufacturing residue. Therefore, before mounting the filler, you should first screw the nut all the way into the dynamo support with some cutting or drilling oil. This way, you clean the threads and make mounting the oil filler effortless.
