Description

The distributor cap transfers the ignition spark to the spark plug wire, so it is understandable that when the contacts are heavily burnt, the engine will run poorly or stop entirely.

Check the distributor cap for wear and cracks every 5000 km and replace it if necessary along with the rotor, as these parts wear on each other.
