If the starter motor only clicks and doesn’t want to turn, then the solenoid is broken or a few windings are burnt.

In most cases, you will need to replace it entirely, a factory-new or professionally refurbished starter motor is the best choice (instead of a used one where you don’t know how long it will last).

With starter motors equipped with a starter bushing (bearing in the gearbox), it may happen that a different starter motor has been installed in the past, causing the shaft diameter to deviate, check the outer diameter of the old starter motor and order the correct starter bushing as an extra if needed.
