Description

When installing a new starter motor, always replace the old starter motor bushing in the transmission housing. This guide bushing ensures that the starter motor rotates freely in the transmission housing without play.

If this bushing is worn out, the starter motor shaft will develop play and the starter motor function will deteriorate faster. When the starter motor is disassembled, the bushing can be replaced without having to remove the engine.
