Distributor cap standard

The distributor cap transfers the ignition spark to the spark plug cable, so it is understandable that when the contacts are heavily burned, the engine runs worse or stops altogether. Check the distributor cap for wear and cracks every 5000 km and replace it together with the rotor, as these parts wear on each other.
