Description

If your engine is equipped with Weber, EMPI or Dellorto carburetors, there is a wide range of air filters available. Most air filters feature a chrome-plated top, and for maximum quality and appearance, aluminum or stainless steel air filters are available for the Weber IDF, EMPI HPMX and D-series, or the Dellorto DRLA.

All air filters come with a filter element and mounting materials. The most essential parts are also available separately for replacement.

The filters used are of very high quality. Tests have shown that they are no less effective than filters from the so-called “major brands”. When the air filter has a cotton filter element, it is important to apply air filter oil to ensure maximum filtration.

For foam filters, it is recommended to thoroughly clean the filter in a soapy water solution every 5000 km. Cotton filters also need a cleaning every 5000 km, using only air filter cleaner, and then reapplying air filter oil. In case of extreme contamination or damage, the filter element should be replaced. If no replacement filter element is available, the entire air filter must be replaced.
