“Windage” pushrod tubes are based on the original, only in this model the crankcase side has been made longer allowing them to protrude deeper into the crankcase.

In sharp corners, the oil splashes in all directions, it can even happen that the oil suction tube runs dry for a short period and thus the oil pressure drops. In the original situation, the oil is scooped up by the pushrod tubes, which is what we want to prevent. This is why the crankcase side of this “Windage” version has been kept longer, keeping the oil where it belongs. You might think my car is not a race car so why should I install them? It is an improvement on the original, so why not build in this safety measure while you’re at it.

The “Windage” pushrod tubes are available in untreated steel (just like the original model) and in polished stainless steel.
