These gaskets come standard in the rear axle sealing kits.
They can be found on vehicles with a swing axle* gearbox between the rear axle bearing retainer and the anchor plate.
Many also install this gasket between the anchor plate and the shock absorber bracket, this is unnecessary, Volkswagen has never applied this.
Sometimes it is necessary to only replace this gasket, which is why we also sell it separately. These gaskets are of the highest quality, comparable to the gaskets found in the A-quality rear axle sealing kits. Supplied in pairs.
