The device contains two copper wire windings and a laminated iron core.
The copper wires are insulated to prevent short circuits.
The battery current flowing through the primary winding generates a magnetic field that is further intensified by the iron core.
When this circuit is opened, the magnetic field collapses, creating a high-voltage pulse in the secondary coil.
NB! It is important not to use original spark plug wires, but only the 8mm silicone spark plug wires designed for higher spark voltage.
