Description

If your engine is equipped with Weber, EMPI, or Dellorto carburetors, there is a wide selection of air filters available. Most air filters have a chrome top, and for maximum quality and appearance, there are aluminum or stainless steel air filters available for the Weber IDF, EMPI HPMX and D-series, or the Dellorto DRLA.

All air filters come with filter elements and mounting materials. The most essential parts are also available separately for replacement.

The used filters are of very high quality. Tests have shown that they are not inferior to filters from the so-called “major brands.” If the air filter has a cotton filter element, it is important to apply air filter oil to ensure maximum filtration; always have this on hand.

For foam filters, it is recommended to thoroughly clean the filter in a soapy solution every 5000 km. Cotton filters also need a cleaning every 5000 km; use only air filter cleaner and reapply air filter oil.

In case of extreme contamination or damage, the filter element should be replaced. If no replacement filter element is available, the entire air filter must be replaced.
