Description

During acceleration and gear shifting, forces are released that cause the engine to tilt. To limit this tilting as much as possible, the engine mounts are equipped with rubbers. From the factory, the hardness of the rubber is set for maximum comfort. If a heavier engine is installed, problems can arise as the original rubber is too soft, causing the engine to tilt further than desired. In extreme situations, the engine may tilt so much that it spontaneously jumps out of gear during acceleration or shifting.

These urethane rubbers are much stiffer than the original, resulting in the gearbox and engine being more firmly mounted on the chassis. This reduces the tilting of the engine but also reduces comfort, as engine vibrations are more noticeable.

These rubbers do not have metal support, unlike the reinforced version. If you install these rubbers on heavily tuned engines, they may tear more quickly than with lightly tuned or standard engines. Therefore, it is recommended to only install these rubbers on standard or lightly tuned engines.

The rubbers are mounted with bolt and nut connections. Metal sleeves are included to prevent tearing through the urethane. Use only the provided mounting materials to ensure correct installation and maximum lifespan.
