Description
This pin is located below the fuel pump and connects the engine to the fuel pump.
If the fuel pump suddenly blocks, it can bend the driveshaft and you will need to replace it. Always check the length of your current shaft for Type 1 and Type 3 engines, as it may happen that a fuel pump from a different year has been installed. Type 4 fuel pump shafts have only been made in one length.
Attention: The shaft must be able to move smoothly through the fuel pump support, slightly widen the fuel pump support with a soft file if the shaft cannot move smoothly through the support, because when the engine heats up, the pin can expand and get stuck, causing the fuel pump to no longer be driven.
Suitable for:
Type-1 engines up to 7.1973 except 25hp and 30hp
Type-3 engines
