Description
Losing, rusting, and cracking in the case of a plastic example are the most common reasons to renew the oil filler cap.
Of course, this does not apply to everyone; you may also want to replace it because the seal is deteriorated and you want to immediately have a nice new one.
If you are tired of the original one, you can also consider fitting a chrome-plated oil filler cap, which is available in a number of versions (depending on which engine is installed).
Suitable for:
Type-1 engines from 8.1955 onwards (except injection engines with engine code AJ)
Diesel engines on the valve cover
