More engine power demands better handling and especially better braking power. Disc brakes at the front quickly become a ‘must’, but when the engine power increases significantly, it is advisable to also equip the rear with disc brakes. Since the handbrake remains mechanical, this set can be used on public roads without problems. These sets are available for 5-hole rims (pitch of 205 mm) and 4-hole rims (pitch of 130 mm). This allows for equipping a Volkswagen from after August 1967 with disc brakes intended for 5-hole rims and vice versa. All components in these sets are of very high quality, making the term “only for professional use” very applicable. The sets are constructed in a way that the track width is not altered compared to the original. Some wear-sensitive parts from these sets are also available separately as replacement parts.

The set is delivered complete with: brake discs, complete calipers with brake pads, handbrake cables, forged mounting brackets, rear axle sealing sets, brake hoses, and mounting materials.

**Attention**: When using discs at the front and rear, it is necessary to also replace your master cylinder with one of higher output, see related products. All mentioned sets must use DOT3 brake fluid, as the manufacturer does not accept any form of warranty when using brake fluid with different specifications.
