In an air-cooled engine, the engine sheet metal is crucial and must therefore be in good condition to prevent any loss of cooling air.
The cylinder plating consists of two parts that are placed over the cylinders on the left and right, connecting at the top to the cooling housing and at the bottom to the warmest conducting sheet metal that expels the used (warm) cooling air.
The cylinder plating is available in the original black color. If you want to turn your engine into a piece of art that can be showcased, they are also available in a chrome-plated version.
If you opt for the black sheet metal, you can have it painted in any color you desire, which is much more difficult with chrome sheet metal.
Suitable for: Type-1 carburetor engines 1300 and 1600 cc 8.1970 and later.
