If the wheel cylinders or brake calipers pump themselves up, the often cause is a blocked brake hose. As a result, the brake fluid will be pumped to the brake cylinder or brake caliper, but it can no longer return.
Ensure to replace your brake hoses for any reason, always replace both left and right. If you don’t do this, there is a high chance of a difference in brake pressure occurring, causing the vehicle to pull when braking.
Make sure the brake hose is mounted without any twisting; a twisted brake hose can be identified by the curved lines pressed into the outer sheath of the brake hose. A twisted brake hose will fail the technical inspection.
