Description
If the wheel brake cylinders or calipers start pumping on their own, the cause is often a clogged brake hose. As a result, the brake fluid will be pumped to the brake cylinder or caliper, but it can no longer flow back.
Whatever the reason for replacing your brake hoses, always replace both the left and right ones. If you don’t do this, there is a high chance that there will be a difference in brake pressure, causing the vehicle to pull to one side when braking.
Make sure the brake hose is mounted without twisting; a twisted brake hose can be identified by the curved lines pressed into the outer casing of the brake hose. A twisted brake hose will fail technical inspection.
