Description

The brake fluid reservoir is directly screwed onto the master cylinder in the Volkswagen Beetle until December 1953 and the single brake system of the Volkswagen Bus. At that time, this was a perfect solution with the least chance of leakage. That is also the reason why this brake system is frequently used in trikes and all kinds of other DIY creations. The brake fluid reservoirs for the Volkswagen Beetles between the production years of January 1954 and July 1960 are made of metal, with the cap seen as an additional option, while for all other brake fluid reservoirs, the cap is included (if applicable).
